Creating our own signature cotton textile was one of the founding ideas for the VAST brand. The cotton industry is notoriously heavy for the planets fresh water supply and its history stained with cruel working conditions. As lovers of cotton, we set out to learn about the process and the many ways of spinning and weaving the thread.

 

A collaboration was born. The results are two equally beautiful 'signature cotton' textile for different purposes, a light weave for the the garment production and a heavier one used in our jackets, bedspreads, hammocks etc.
